Agronomy (tropical crops direction)
农学（热带作物方向）的人才培养始于1960年，2005年招收高职高专，2015年招收农学（热带作物方向）的高职本科学生。农学（热带作物方向）专业围绕国家热区农业产业和区域经济发展的需求，培养拥护中国共产党领导，具有良好人文社科底蕴与自然科学基础、扎实农学专业理论和实践能力、较好的沟通与交流能力，能够在热带作物领域从事教学科研、经营管理、技术推广、产品开发的高素质复合应用型人才。本专业拥有教师16人，有云南省产业技术体系科学家1人、云南省教学名师1人、普洱市青年拔尖人才1人，高级职称教师12人，硕士学位以上教师13人。近五年，拥有省部级级以上科研平台5个，校级黄大年式教学团队1个，校级热带作物栽培与育种教学团队1个，承担校级及以上科研项目近10项，发表论文近30篇，申请专利近20项，出版国家林草局“十三五”规划教材4本，荣获云南省科技进步三等奖1项，海南省科技进步二等奖1项。现有在校学生415人，近三年平均就业落实率超过93%，考研7人。
The cultivation of talents in Agronomy (Tropical Crops Direction) started in 1960, with senior high school students enrolled in 2005, and senior undergraduate students enrolled in Agronomy (Tropical Crops Direction) in 2015. The major of Agronomy (Tropical Crops Direction) focuses on the needs of the national hot zone agricultural industry and regional economic development, cultivating high-quality composite application talents who support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have good humanities and social science background and natural science foundation, solid agronomy professional theory and practical ability, good communication and exchange ability, and can engage in teaching and research, management and management, technology promotion and product development in the field of tropical crops. The major has 16 teachers, including 1 scientist of Yunnan Province Industrial Technology System, 1 teaching master of Yunnan Province, 1 top young talent of Pu'er City, 12 teachers with senior titles, and 13 teachers with master's degree or above. In the past five years, there have been 5 research platforms at the provincial and ministerial level, 1 Huang Danian teaching team at the university level, 1 tropical crop cultivation and breeding teaching team at the university level, nearly 10 research projects at the university level and above, nearly 30 papers published, nearly 20 patents applied for, 4 "13th Five-Year Plan Textbooks" published by the National Forestry and Grass Bureau, and 1 "Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award." It has won one-third prize of Science and Technology Progress in Yunnan Province and one-second prize of Science and Technology Progress in Hainan Province. There are 415 students in school, and the average employment implementation rate has been over 93% in the past three years, and 7 students have been admitted to graduate school.
