The college is based in Pu'er, Yunnan Province, which is rich in ecological resources and ethnic, cultural resources, and is adjacent to Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos, which is the golden frontier for Yunnan to build a radiation center for South and Southeast Asia. Over the years, the college has taken the initiative to integrate and serve the national strategy of "the Belt and Road" and radiation in South and Southeast Asia and has carried out international cooperation and exchange at multiple levels and in a wide range of fields, cooperating with Borin University in Thailand, Hanoi University of Agriculture in Vietnam, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Sang Chi University in South Korea, Lincoln University in New Zealand and introducing foreign quality education resources. The college has been working on international cooperation and exchange with Thailand Boejen University, Vietnam Hanoi University of Agriculture, Malaysia Botra University, Korea Sang Chi University, New Zealand Lincoln University, etc., to improve high-quality foreign educational resources the level of international education.
